Paestum: point the spotlight on our history!

Paestum principale

Did you know that you can find a little piece of Greece in Campania as well? Its history is very ancient and glorious. Founded by the Greeks as Poseidonia, in honour of the Greek god Poseidon, it was later renamed Paestum by the Romans in 273 BC. Nowadays the town of Paestum is famous for its ruins, the Temples of Hera and Athena, which attract thousands of visitors every year, from all over the world! Apart from the archaeological site, you can also find a museum which includes numerous Greek finds!

Paestum is also very close to the beach where you might experience one of the best sunsets in the world! Can you picture yourself sailing and drinking an Aperitivo or having a typical Italian seafood dinner directly on the sea? If your answer is yes, then Mandato Consulting is the best solution for you! We can book it all for you, you just have to ask.

However, if seafood doesn’t appeal to you, on your way to the archaeological site, you will find mozzarella farms surrounded by huge gardens. You can taste mozzarella, yogurt, artisanal ice cream or buffalo ricotta while your children play with horses and buffalo! We can even organize a tour of the production process!

As always, your friends from MC will be happy to organize everything for you! We can take care of your accommodation and car transfer, providing the best assistance you can hope for!
