The 2014-2020 National Operational Program (PON) “Culture and Development” has as its main objective the enhancement of the territory through interventions for the conservation of cultural heritage, the strengthening of tourist services system and support of the entrepreneurial chain connected to the sector. The Program is intended for 5 regions of Southern Italy - Basilicata, Calabria, Campania, Puglia and Sicily - and has a financial grant of 490.9 million euros, 368.2 million euros derive from the European Structural Funds (ERDF) while 122.7 million euros originate from national co-financing.
The PON is implemented through a short and direct chain: the MiBACT Administration makes use of its territorial divisions (MiBACT Regional Secretariats, Superintendencies) as part of a strategy of connection and coordination with the regional administrations of the five regions concerned, in which the specific Operational Implementation Agreements (AOA) have been signed.
The project idea saw the creation of the Mandato Consulting APP for smartphones and tablets that is designed to provide a new experience while exploiting the territory. Citizens and tourists get to know and reach the beauties of Campania's natural and cultural heritage in few simple steps through the built-in navigation, at the same time guaranteeing accessibility to people with visual disabilities thanks to the presence of audio guides.
Among the application functions, the presence of experience packages allows you to discover how to “live” the area in the name of relaxation, fun and / or learning of ancient crafts; while another area is entirely dedicated to commercial activities focused on the products of Campanian gastronomic tradition, supporting the knowledge of excellent flavors.
The special pages are dedicated to legal, medical and real estate assistance and make the APP a complete tool to advise foreign citizens visiting the Italian territory.
