A one-week sensorial experience through the most spectacular spots in Campania, exploring new and ancient flavors between history and modern charms.

ITINERARY:

DAY ONE
Welcome to Italy!
Today you will meet the rest of the group and settle down in the beautiful sea view location that will set your mind to your Italian holiday enjoying a welcome drink and snack.

DAY TWO
We will enjoy a delicious breakfast before heading off to Paestum.
At first, we will visit a local mozzarella factory, caseificio, where will go through the whole process of production in a nice and clean environment tasting mozzarella and local products for lunch; we will then be heading to the archeological area where the Temples of Hera and Athena, built circa 500 BC, and the ancient city remain in remarkable condition.
Words are hard to find to describe this foregone landscape where we will spend a fair amount of time with our private tour guide that will enhance the experience with her knowledge.
On our way back we will stop in a nice restaurant for a good dinner.

DAY THREE
Today we will take a drive to Ravello, a beautiful panoramic village on the Amalfi coast, our guide will introduce us to two amazing spots, Villa Rufolo and the infinity garden of Villa Cimbrone.
Before lunchtime, we will reach Furore where we will visit a famous local winery, touring in the sea view vineyard that dominates the area, and having lunch served with local wines.
Free time in Amalfi on the way back for some fancy shopping.
      
DAY FOUR
Sea time!
After breakfast we will drive to Salerno from where a private boat will leisurely take us along the coastline for a relaxing journey; slowly going and caressed by the sun we will discover the other point of view to the coast passing by villages and hidden beaches, stopping by to take a bath or just enjoy the view.
We will pass by Cetara, Erchie, Maiori, Minori, and Amalfi, stopping by the beach of Conca dei Marini for a delicious overwater lunch, then we’ll get on our way back, arriving in the late afternoon.

DAY FIVE
Jumping back to Roman past, we will start the day visiting one of the most famous archeological areas in the world, Pompeii ruins with our local guide who will tell us the story of Romans life; we will follow the historic path preparing then our own lunch following an ancient menu based on local products and recipes of that age in a fine venue nearby where we will also taste local wines produced here from the unique grapes of the vesuvian land; in the evening, at the villa, we will prepare the famous limoncello with our hands, an easy and funny making that will leave a nice lemon scent on our hands.

DAY SIX
Escorted day in  Salerno with a local guide; during the excursion guests will visit sites of high historical and cultural importance like the Cathedral, Minerva's garden, and Arechi’s Castle; guests will be shown around the old town’s narrow alleys and will get to know one of the most ancient cities in Italy’s charm, making the day more brilliant by preparing and tasting one of the most famous delights of local cuisine: pizza.

DAY SEVEN
A day dedicated to an unforgettable excursion, after an early breakfast we will board our van to Bomerano from where we will start trekking on "Sentiero degli Dei" (Gods path), a terrific scenic route on the highlands of Amalfi coast, definitely one of the most striking panoramas on earth.
After having a packed lunch on the way we will get to Nocelle where the driver will be waiting to take us to Positano (those who will feel like can walk down the stairs and then follow the road to reach Positano by walk).
Free time in the fanciest village on the coast and then we will gather together to go back to our place.
In the evening we will have our last cooking class at the villa and then enjoy the food we prepared with a local chef in a wonderful evening quiet atmosphere.

DAY EIGHT
Farewells, debriefing and transfers to the airport.

The amazing beauty of our 18th century Palazzo will fascinate guests with its enchanting rooms and beautiful frescoed halls overlooking the Amalfi Coast and the Gulf of Salerno.
Lose yourself in the culture and beauty of times gone by: stroll through the tastefully decorated halls, read fine books from the well-stocked library, seat in the delightful gardens or simply enjoy breakfast surrounded by the Mediterranean colours of frescoes and hand painted ceramics, with the sound of a gramophone playing an old record in the background.
The villa has 3 floors, 9 ensuite double bedrooms (only 1 with external, but still private bathroom), 7 in the main building and 2 in the apartment upstairs with separate access from the upper yard that can accommodate up to 18-20 people, adding an extra bed in 2 rooms; 2 beautiful living rooms, a wide kitchen (can be used only with local personnel, half or full board are on request) and an old library where guests can relax reading or just admiring original old newspapers and books.
Breakfast is served in the breakfast room or on the outdoor seaview terrace if weather is good enough to, everyday from 8 to 10 am, times can be flexible on request.
